'Premier' Cabbies Join the Ranks

Leading taxi firm based in Christchurch has been the first to take the progressive steps towards getting all its drivers qualified.

Neighbouring borough councils Bournemouth and Poole last year implemented taxi qualifications as a legal requirement, with non qualified drivers not permitted to be licensed.

Chritax Taxis Ltd. have been the first taxi company in the Christchurch area to provide uniformed drivers and have recently started to put their drivers through the NVQ level 2 in Road passenger Vehicle Driving with The Bournemouth and Poole College.
